While scale, quality, and urgency are the visible tip of the iceberg, deeper challenges lie in poor system capacity, innovation, and education leadership.

How do we transform this reality for the million of children in India?

Inspire

We nurture the education ecosystem to amplify the focus on school improvement by enabling civil society organisations through innovative programs, knowledge sharing of resources, and collective action.

We partner with Education Departments at district, state, and national levels, such as the State Council for Education Research and Training (SCERT) and District Institutes for Education and Training (DIETs), to co-create solutions that aim to improve systemic structures and processes and school-level practices.

Transform means enabling public education systems to improve from within by equipping education leaders at every level to identify challenges, make data-informed decisions, and drive contextually relevant solutions that strengthen teaching, leadership, and student learning.

FAQ's

How are Mantra4Change’s programs implemented in government schools?

Mantra4Change works directly with government schools through partnerships with education departments at the state and district levels. Our programs focus on building education leaders, improving teaching practices, and strengthening system-level support structures. We design and implement contextual interventions through capacity-building workshops, in-school mentoring, and collaborative action with local stakeholders.

Education Leadership is at the heart of our approach. We believe that strong education leaders create the conditions for better teaching and learning. Our programs equip head teachers and school leaders with the tools and training they need to drive school improvement, foster a positive school culture, and support teacher development.

We co-create solutions with government stakeholders at state, district, and school levels. These partnerships are built on trust, co-creation, and alignment with the education department’s priorities, which align with NEP 2020. We support government-led reforms by providing technical assistance, helping scale successful models, and building capacity across the education system.
