Learning Spaces at Home – Tumkur & Madhugiri

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in schools shutting down across the country. In the Karnataka Districts, Tumkur and Madhugiri over 3,000 schools had empty classrooms for over a year leading to a dramatic rise in e-learning, Community learning centers, self-learning at homes, etc. With this sudden shift away from the classroom, the District Institute for Education and Training, Tumkur and Mantra4Change launched the Learning Spaces project to encourage parents and teachers to build conducive environments at home to enable continuous learning for students.
